Construction on the clubhouse and pool is coming along at a great pace! The upper pool has been dug, and the waterslide and rock walls are currently being built. We have 11 units under construction and three more units that we will be starting construction on shortly.
All The Comforts of Home
We want our guests to think of Arcadia Vacation Resort as their home away from home. All of our units have full kitchens, complete with the cookware, cutlery, and small appliances—so you can enjoy a home cooked meal any time during your stay. Don’t want to cook while on vacation? No problem. With a kitchen island, dining room, living room, family room, patio, and deck, there’s plenty of seating options inside and out to enjoy some take out. And the kitchenette in the family room makes it easy to store snacks for those late-night movies.
If you’re wondering how long it will be until we start renting units at Arcadia Vacation Resort, wonder no longer! We are currently renting out Unit 5. This unit features our Retreat floorplan, with five bedrooms and six and a half baths; it can sleep up to 18! It’s the perfect place for large sport groups, family reunions, or corporate retreats.
The downstairs has a master bedroom, bedroom with en suite, an office, kitchen, dining room, and living room with TV and fireplace. The kitchen’s large island has seating for five, and the dining room has seating for six. Upstairs are three more bedrooms all en suite, a family room, and a balcony with those wonderful red rock views.
And Arcadia Vacation Resort is only minutes away from everything you come to St. George for! We’re just 13 minutes from Snow Canyon, 14 minutes from downtown St. George, 15 minutes from Tuacahn Outdoor Theater, 33 minutes from Sand Hollow State Park, and 68 minutes from Zion National Park.
Planning Your Vacation
Spring is here, but with the current temperatures, it feels more like summer and time to plan that getaway. One of the most important things to plan when coming to St. George is what to pack.
With over 38 miles of hiking trails in Snow Canyon alone, you’ll want to pack a good pair of walking or hiking shoes. The National Park Service recommends sturdy boots along with liner socks to guard against blisters. And if you’re going to be hiking in Zion National Park, you’ll also want to pack a pair of water shoes.
Clothes made of cool, moisture wicking or quick drying fabric are a must. Pack enough clothes to allow you to dress in layers. While it gets very hot during the day, it can be cold at night in the canyons.
You’ll also want to pack items to protect against the sun: a hat, sunglasses, water bottle, and plenty of sunscreen. But if you forgot the sunscreen or want a great travel-size option, we’ll soon be offering our Arcadia Vacation Resort toiletries for sale online. Watch for the announcement that the online store is open, so you can check out all of our great options—including our sunscreen that has been specially formulated for those with light or sensitive skin who need a little extra protection.
